The bottom-line to all ministries is servitude. To minister means to serve. Being a leader isn’t going around with an attitude that others will be serving us. God takes a different slant on serving and greatness. He said in Matthew 23:11 that “...He that is greatest among you shall be your servant,” therefore, as we go up in ministry, as we are elevated to the position of leader, then that is when we ought to be serving the most.

If we as leaders can catch the revelation that we are here to serve others, then maybe we won’t be as frustrated as we often are. Serving others is one of our greatest responses to the Call of God on our lives.

This is why we do what we do .This is why God has raised us up, to serve the needs of others. We must lead by example, keeping our standards high and keeping our teams focused on Christ.
